We are hiring a diligent Picker/Packer for our busy facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders within our logistics network. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction. We foster a collaborative environment where teamwork and efficiency are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals within our logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse inventory systems and logistics.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
