We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding operations in Atlanta, Georgia. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will contribute to the efficient handling of goods, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping within a busy distribution environment. This role is integral to our overall logistics strategy and requires a commitment to safety and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists with speed and precision.
- Pack orders carefully, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Assist with tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Understanding of general warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role requiring frequent Lifting, bending, and standing.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
