Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler in our state-of-the-art distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This crucial role involves the movement, storage, and organization of goods within the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, inspecting materials for damage, and storing them in designated locations. Efficient material handling is the backbone of our logistics operations, and your contribution will ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Verify inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring proper stacking and storage.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Follow all procedures for lifting and moving heavy items to prevent injuries.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid forklift certification is a significant asset.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 pounds) regularly.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in a logistics setting.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
