The Senior Software Engineering Manager will play a vital role in the Retail, Restaurant, and Supply Chain Technology organization. This position necessitates close collaboration with Product teams, vendor partners, and operations partners throughout the organization. The Senior Software Engineering Manager will manage crucial internal responsibilities while ensuring alignment with the overarching goals established by our business partners. What You'll Do: Drive the goals of the Parks Supply Chain Technology team by executing the strategic priorities and operational objectives for US Parks Supply Chain systems.
Oversee engineering and development deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with technical specifications.
Engage with executives, senior managers, and key stakeholders to align objectives and enhance cross-functional processes.
Manage external vendor relationships, including oversight of contracts and performance assessments.
Evaluate team functions, recommend automation and self-service tools, and align results with business needs for efficiency.
Collaborate deeply with Program and Product Management regarding features, roadmaps, and budgets, while escalating issues as necessary.
Foster the growth of your direct reports through mentoring in technical skills and personal development.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the full software development lifecycle.
At least 7 years focused on Server Side and Backend engineering.
Minimum of 5 years in software management.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar systems.
Experience with Warehouse Execution or Control Systems and relevant technology stacks.
Background in managing systems related to Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory movements within warehouses and points of sale.
Experience in developing use case driven software using Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development.
Experience managing global platforms with a round-the-clock availability and support model.
Required Education: BS/BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
