Your main focus will be on accurately and rapidly retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will be working with a wide variety of products, ensuring that each order is picked correctly and prepared for its onward journey. We are seeking dependable, energetic individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets. Your role is critical to our supply chain's success and customer satisfaction. Comprehensive training will be provided, covering our order picking systems, equipment operation, and essential Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using RF scanning devices.
- Verify correct item numbers and quantities for each order.
- Package picked items carefully and securely for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading and dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of items, often up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
