Join our logistics team as a Material Handler in Cincinnati, Ohio! We are looking for a dedicated and efficient individual to support our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include moving materials within the facility, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory control. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring the efficiency of our supply chain. You will work in a dynamic environment where safety and accuracy are top priorities. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to our team's success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all logistics protocols.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient material flow and workflow.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety best practices and logistics operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Must be committed to safety and wear required PPE.
