This role is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, involving the handling of goods, organizing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials. You will be responsible for tasks such as loading and unloading, stocking, and preparing orders for shipment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all team members are expected to follow established protocols and utilize the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks and containers.
- Sort, place, and move inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Safety regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
- Follow all logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Wear and maintain all assigned PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting of goods.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on your feet for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
- High school diploma or GED is a plus.
