Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and Safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to manage logistics effectively.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Manage the receiving and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Enforce the correct use of PPE and ensure a safe working environment.
- Facilitate tasks involving significant Lifting by coordinating resources and ensuring proper techniques are used.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar management role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and experience implementing Safety programs.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvements.
- Experience with handling tasks involving significant Lifting and material movement.
- Knowledge of appropriate PPE for various warehouse tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
