We are seeking an organized and precise Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and assisting with stocktaking. Your meticulous approach will be crucial for ensuring the integrity of our inventory data, which is vital for efficient warehouse operations and supply chain management. You will work with inventory management software, reconcile stock levels, and identify potential issues that could impact order fulfillment. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. While physical lifting is not the primary focus, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally is necessary, and adherence to all safety protocols and the use of provided PPE are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Assist with the organization and placement of stock.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Support warehouse staff with inventory-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
