We are hiring motivated Order Pickers for our St. Louis, Missouri, warehouse! This role is critical to our logistics operations, requiring individuals who can accurately and efficiently retrieve products to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will use RF scanners and other tools to locate, pick, and prepare items for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of working in a fast-paced physical environment. You'll navigate our warehouse daily, ensuring the correct items are selected with precision. A strong commitment to safety is essential; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate products on warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any order discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Meet daily picking productivity targets and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support overall logistics flow.
- Involves regular lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret product information from labels and lists.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is preferred.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Capability for lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
