We are hiring Order Pickers for our busy warehouse located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, forming a critical link in our logistics chain. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves based on order lists, using RF scanners, and preparing items for packing and shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong commitment to Safety. Comprehensive training will be provided on all operational procedures, including the correct use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations. This position requires significant walking and the ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Utilize RF scanning equipment to manage inventory.
- Meet daily picking quotas and productivity targets.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Support the overall Logistics function of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with extensive walking and physical activity.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of goods.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards and using PPE correctly.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics principles is beneficial.
