We are hiring an Order Picker for our facility in Detroit, Michigan, to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role is a critical link in our Logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is meticulous, organized, and thrives in a dynamic warehouse setting. You will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, using scanning technology to track inventory movement, staging picked items for packing, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will receive all necessary training and PPE . This position requires regular Lifting of products, standing, and movement throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner
- Retrieve items from designated warehouse locations
- Verify picked items against order details
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper picking procedures
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely
- Keep your workstation and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
