We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our state-of-the-art distribution center in Houston, Texas. This role is vital to our Logistics operations, ensuring that our stock levels are precise, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing warehouse efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in inventory management. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring the integrity of our stock data. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. You will be required to use appropriate PPE . This position involves regular Lifting and physical activity. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Developing and implementing inventory control procedures
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting on inventory accuracy
  • Ensuring the proper receiving, storage, and shipping of inventory
  • Maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal inventory management
  • Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively
  • Training other staff on inventory control best practices
  • Collaborating with purchasing and operations teams
