Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or system prompts.
- Scan items to ensure correct product and quantity are picked.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for the shipping carrier.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Support other warehouse tasks to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
