In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, contributing directly to our supply chain success. Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verify outgoing shipments against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
- Operate shipping software and systems to track shipments and generate labels.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of all outgoing products.
- Conduct quality checks on packed items before dispatch.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Assist with receiving and inventory tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role preferred.
- Proficiency in shipping software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using required PPE.
