You will be responsible for retrieving products from inventory, inspecting them for quality, and packaging them securely to prevent damage during transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packaging.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow safe lifting practices and material handling procedures to prevent workplace injuries.
- Contribute to overall logistics workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of general warehouse safety and logistics principles.
