Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the delivery of technical solutions, including system design, implementation, user acceptance testing, documentation, and project coordination
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022; physical and virtual)
  • Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, permissions, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access
  • Assist with the management of enterprise technologies including Wired/wireless networks, Firewalls, E-mail security gateway, Remote access solutions (VPN/Citrix), Mobile Device Management, Network Access Control, Endpoint Detection & Response, VoIP and FoIP systems, Backup and recovery solutions etc.
  • Perform general Windows Server administration tasks, including printer deployment, network folder and user lifecycle management
  • Participate in vulnerability management and security patching for servers and workstations
  • Liaise with vendors as required for hardware/software support for various technologies
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts generated by third-party SOC services and internal monitoring platforms
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance, identifying and resolving issues before service degradation occurs
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues that have not been resolved at the Tier 3 level
  • Create packages and deploy software, security updates and system changes across the enterprise using tools such as Microsoft SCCM, Group Policy, NAC, scripting etc.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, solution designs, procedures, and network diagrams to support service continuity
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve complex systems and network issues
  • Participates in an after-hours on-call rotation to support urgent incidents business-critical systems
  • Availability for occasional after hours/weekend work for critical system upgrades in support of a 24x7 environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years hands-on experience working in a Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network administration and technical support within a Windows-based enterprise environment
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (2016,2019,2022,2025)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Windows administration tools such as Active Directory, DHCP and DNS
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience working with VMware Virtualization technologies is an asset
  • Experience working with the following technologies would be an asset (VMware, vCenter, Citrix NetScaler, Dell Power Protect Manager, Cisco VOIP, Cisco Wireless, Check Point, Forescout, Meditech Expanse)
  • Strong planning, organization, and project implementation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritize concurrent issues
