We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT team. This is a hands-on, in person position, we are not considering remote applicants at this time.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves managing LAN, WAN, data center networks, and cloud security solutions, supporting various network protocols, and ensuring high availability across all systems. The Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and technological innovation in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Configuring and setting policies on firewalls (we use Fortinet).
* Managing Ethernet switches (Fortinet).
* Managing UPS devices (Schneider Electric).
* Cat 5 and Cat 6 cabling.
* Configuring and managing wireless access points and network (Ubiquity).
* Troubleshooting fiber optic, digital line, and satellite communication circuits and working with respective vendors.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.•
Strong customer‑focused problem‑solving abilities.•
Solid project management and reporting skills.•
Ability to recognize when to escalate issues effectively (internal, vendor, or SME network).
* Personal transportation and willingness to travel to our facilities as needed, including outside standard hours.
* Demonstrated ongoing technical training.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience with enterprise networking including LAN/WAN design & implementation; strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP) and network security best practices.
* Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds or PRTG; vulnerability assessment tools are a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or within a team environment under minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
