Are you a highly skilled and experienced network and computer support technician looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a High-Level Network and Computer Support Technician with minimum 10 YEARS Experience in a hands-on environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure and computer systems, ensuring seamless operations and top-notch technical support for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management:

· Design, implement, and maintain complex network configurations, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

· Monitor network performance, identify and resolve network issues, and optimize network resources.

· Manage and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.

· Ensure network scalability and reliability to support business growth.

Computer Systems Support:

· Provide high-level technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

· Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, operating systems, and software applications.

· Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks.

· Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network and computer systems.

Data Backup and Recovery:

· Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to protect critical data and ensure business continuity.

· Execute backup and recovery procedures, and regularly test data recovery processes.

Security and Compliance:

· Implement and enforce security policies, practices, and procedures to safeguard data and systems.

· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and ensure adherence.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and system health.

Vendor Management:

· Collaborate with technology vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and services.

· Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network and system capabilities.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

· Train and mentor junior IT staff on network and computer support best practices.

· Conduct workshops or seminars for end-users to enhance their technical skills.

Qualifications:

· Vehicle with valid driver's license

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

· 5+ years of experience in network and computer support, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and network management.

· Proficiency in network protocols, security standards, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, firewall management).

· Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and hardware components.

· Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, MCSA) are desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
