Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Class B CDL)
to join our team. In this role, you will train to drive a Class B box truck, providing essential onsite services for parts washer machines while also collecting containerized hazardous waste and selling our products/services along a designated route. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that health and safety remain top priorities by adhering to all policies and practices. Visit approximately 10-12 customer sites daily. Exchange 15- & 30-gallon drums of cleaning solutions. Service parts washer machines and maintain clean sinks by removing sediment. Engage customers with up-selling opportunities and generate new business leads. Service automotive repair shops, fleets, and manufacturing businesses. Complete daily service schedules, deliveries, and pickups promptly. Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations. Follow company environmental health and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must possess a Class B CDL. Must obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Basic computer and math skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service abilities are essential. Physical capability to meet job demands. Must successfully pass a background check, drug test, and physical as required by the position. Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard regarding facial hair for respirator use. Preferred Qualifications: Proven customer service experience. Previous commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL) is a plus. Safety-Kleen is an equal opportunity employer.
