Software/Hardware Test Engineer Overview We are seeking a hands-on senior test engineer to design, automate, and execute validation for integrated software-hardware systems. This role is focused on building practical test solutions, running systematic validation, and quickly diagnosing issues to support fast development cycles. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed test plans and create automated test scripts (Python preferred) Set up and maintain hardware and software test environments, including CI/CD-based automation Execute systematic test plans, provide rapid troubleshooting, and debug support Perform hands-on manual testing to validate real-world use cases and edge conditions Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with engineers to drive resolution Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency Qualifications: Strong experience testing integrated software and hardware systems Hands-on expertise with test automation, scripting, and lab-based validation Ability to debug across firmware, software, drivers, and system-level interactions Experience working from early or ambiguous requirements Comfortable working in fast-moving, cross-functional engineering teams Clear communicator able to explain issues, risks, and test results effectively Location: Cupertino, CA (100% on-site) Type: Full-time Pay rate: $55-65/hr DOE Submit resume to jobs@OSIengineering.com No 3rd party agencies or C2C Abel Lara | 408.550.2800 x119 Abel@OSIengineering.com
