Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipping information and quantities against order details.
- Generate and affix shipping labels and any required documentation.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Keep accurate records of shipments sent.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving boxes safely, using proper techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping procedures.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
