Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Process and document incoming shipments accurately.
- Organize and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking items from shelves.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and stage them for carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area, utilizing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and material handling procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently when required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and using PPE.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts if needed.
