We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our bustling warehouse facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary duties will involve transporting palletized goods to and from racking systems, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining organized storage areas. You must possess a proven track record of operating reach trucks in a warehouse setting, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and efficient material handling. A commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment is essential, along with the ability to follow instructions accurately. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team within our logistics network. Understanding and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role involves frequent lifting and requires physical stamina. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve goods.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Perform routine checks on reach truck equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records as required.
- Organize warehouse stock and ensure proper placement.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification. Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment. Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 60 pounds. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols. Knowledge of material handling equipment and logistics operations. Excellent spatial awareness and precision. Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. A commitment to safety and teamwork is crucial. Experience with RF scanners is beneficial.
