We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Sacramento, California. A paramount focus on Safety is expected; you will be responsible for enforcing all safety regulations, ensuring the correct use of PPE , and promoting a culture of safety awareness among your team. This role may involve some physical tasks, including occasional Lifting , but primarily focuses on management and oversight. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff daily.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics .
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Commitment to promoting and enforcing Safety standards and PPE usage.
- Ability to handle occasional physical tasks, including Lifting .
