Our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan is looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our logistics operations. This role is central to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for efficiently locating and gathering items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order fulfillment requests using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Label packages with correct shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety guidelines.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated by company policy.
- Meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and Lifting for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices.
