We are hiring an Order Picker for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse storage to fulfill customer orders. This position is critical to our order fulfillment process and contributes directly to customer satisfaction within our logistics operations. You will use RF scanning equipment to locate products, pick quantities accurately, and prepare them for the packing station. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, has excellent attention to detail, and is committed to working safely. You must be able to navigate the warehouse efficiently and handle various types of products. We require adherence to all safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a busy and productive team, ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your efficiency and accuracy are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and pick lists.
- Locate items in designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of general warehouse logistics and safety principles.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE.
