Join our bustling San Diego, California warehouse as a Picker/Packer! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, carefully packing them for shipment, and ensuring they meet our quality standards. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics and fulfillment process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work with state-of-the-art scanning equipment and WMS systems to efficiently locate products, assemble orders, and prepare them for dispatch. This role involves frequent movement throughout the warehouse and requires the ability to handle a variety of product sizes and weights. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capacity for lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping processes.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE and follow safety guidelines.
