We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our thriving logistics facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming goods. Your diligence ensures the integrity of our inventory and the smooth flow of materials into our supply chain. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety. All team members are expected to use appropriate PPE and adhere to strict safety standards to maintain a secure working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect incoming goods for any damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label inventory for proper storage and tracking.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding receiving issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including lifting and moving materials.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
