Join our fast-paced logistics operations as an Order Picker in Austin, Texas! We are looking for an energetic and reliable individual to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order slips. Accuracy and speed are key in this role, as you will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. A strong commitment to warehouse safety and proper handling of materials is essential. We provide all necessary PPE and expect all team members to adhere to our rigorous safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment for moving inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to a supervisor immediately.
- Contribute to overall team goals in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a standing and walking position for extended periods.
- Understanding of safe lifting techniques and general warehouse safety.
- Must wear required PPE.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
