Our growing logistics operation in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all team members to prioritize safety. Responsibilities:
- Unload and process incoming shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse using established systems.
- Select and pack items from inventory to fulfill customer orders with precision.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including accurate labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and order pickers, as needed (training provided).
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Must be capable of performing tasks that require physical stamina, including prolonged standing and lifting.
- Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to workplace safety.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Dependable attendance is essential.
