Our Las Vegas, Nevada facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Technician to maintain and optimize our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our entire logistics network. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on various warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and other automated equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, especially when working with machinery.
- Support the overall logistics operations by ensuring equipment reliability.
- Be prepared for tasks involving lifting and manual dexterity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is beneficial.
- Technical certifications are a plus.
