Are you looking for a great opportunity in a dynamic warehouse environment? As an Inbound Materials Handler, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities: • Uphold safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices. • Unload various merchandise from trailers, containers, and trucks. • Verify skid or box counts against Proof of Delivery documentation, noting any discrepancies. • Place skids in assigned areas on or near the dock and manage packaging documentation. • Receive and process products including vendor shipments, store returns, and small package deliveries. • Efficiently place product in designated storage locations, reaching up to 72 inches high. Utilize powered equipment for higher storage locations. • Investigate discrepancies and ensure all corrections are made before closing batches to release products to inventory. • Follow instructions for product retrieval and replacement from various storage locations, using appropriate equipment. • Experienced team members may serve as trainers for new hires, ensuring accurate training and documentation. • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience: Required: • Basic computer skills. • Ability to work well in a team environment. • Quick and accurate reading of numerical and alphabetical characters. Desired: • High school diploma or GED. • Previous warehouse experience, particularly with alphanumeric or RF directed stocking. • Familiarity with automotive parts. • Advanced computer skills. • Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.
