Westcan is currently seeking a Trailer Technician to join our team.

Shift: Nights:

Sunday to Wednesday :00pm to 2:30am

Or 

Wednesday to Saturday :00pm to 2:30am 

  $2.00 night shift premium & $2.00 weekend premium.      

 About the position:

 Depending on skill level and experience you will be exposed or trained on:

• Interpreting work orders and technical manuals, performing scheduled preventative maintenance services, diagnosing faults or malfunctions
• Adjusting equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems on truck and trailers
• Operating oxy-acetylene torches or perform minor welding repairs (non-code work)
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations
• Completing service repair orders and bill out all parts used on repair order

  What you bring:

• 1-2 years of commercial or fleet tire experience is preferred
• Safety conscious approach to all job duties
