1-Tom-Plumber is a fast-growing franchise in Cambridge. We take pride in delivery high-quality plumbing solutions for residential and commercial construction projects. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated construction plumber to join our team! We are seeking goal oriented and dedicated team members, who appreciate a family atmosphere! We are looking for a new construction plumber of any experience level. However, compensation will vary depending on experience.
Qualifications:
* Must have valid residential Plumbing License (registered Journeyman Plumber or equivalent)
* 3+ years experience in new construction plumbing preferred
* Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral)
* Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing tasks.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Teamwork oriented with a self-starter ability
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
* Able to perform daily responsibilities listed below:
Responsibilities:
* Maintain consistent communication with dispatch
* Represent 1-Tom Plumber in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner
* Perform rough-in and finishing plumbing on residential and/or commercial construction sites
* Install water supply, drainage, and venting systems
* Work with copper, PEX, ABS, PVC, and other common plumbing materials
* Test systems for leaks and ensure compliance with all applicable codes
* Follow safety protocols and company procedures
* Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades for timely completion
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
* Properly clean and maintain equipment and vehicle
* Participate in on-call rotation and rapidly respond to customer’s plumbing emergencies

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience:
* plumbing: 3 years (required)
* Operating Excavation Equipment: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Plumber Journeyperson Certificate Ontario (required)
