Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering actionable business insights. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and facilitate project success using agile methodologies and project management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate findings effectively.
  • Design and maintain databases with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles.
  • Support business analysis activities by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Participate in project management activities within an Agile framework, ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Conduct analysis aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Automate reporting processes using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting tools to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements through data insights.
  • Maintain documentation of data workflows and analysis procedures using Visio or similar tools.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and VBA for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience working within Agile environments and understanding of project management principles.
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes for developing reliable analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with database design concepts in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
