We are recruiting a diligent Shipping Clerk for our Omaha, Nebraska location. This role is vital for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying order details, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced Logistics environment. Your work directly contributes to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our supply chain. Experience with shipping software and a good understanding of warehouse procedures are highly valued. We are committed to a safe workplace, and all employees must adhere to Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. This role involves frequent Lifting of packages.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately create shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Track shipments and provide status updates.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Perform regular Lifting of packages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with computer systems and shipping software.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of packages.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of Safety best practices and PPE usage.
