We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center, supporting various warehouse functions. Your responsibilities may include receiving and putting away stock, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will operate manual and powered equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, and may receive training on forklifts. A strong emphasis on safety is critical; you must adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting. Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and put-away of inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Perform lifting and moving of materials as required.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to perform lifting up to 60 pounds. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Strong work ethic and commitment to reliability. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Willingness to learn and operate different equipment. Commitment to safety is paramount. Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
