We're hiring skilled Forklift Operators in Nashville, Tennessee! Join our dynamic logistics team and play an essential part in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stock, and retrieve inventory. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility, supporting receiving, shipping, and storage functions. This role requires a high level of focus, precision, and a strong commitment to Safety. Daily tasks involve loading and unloading trucks, organizing pallets, and maintaining accurate inventory placement. We are dedicated to providing a secure workplace, and you will be expected to strictly follow all Safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques. The ideal candidate possesses a current forklift certification, substantial experience in warehouse environments, and the physical ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all established Safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse management and colleagues.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and verifiable experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in safe forklift operation.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in using PPE.
