Our Grand Rapids, Michigan warehouse is looking for energetic and reliable Warehouse Workers to join our dedicated team. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of our logistics and distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and putting away stock, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding a safe working environment. We value individuals who are team players and possess a strong work ethic. Your ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately contributes significantly to our overall productivity and customer satisfaction. Compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This position offers a solid foundation for a career in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload materials onto and from trucks.
- Store inventory in designated locations, maintaining organization.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
