We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our vibrant team in Miami, Florida. In this essential role, you will manage the intake of all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. Key responsibilities include unloading deliveries, meticulously checking inventory against documentation, inspecting for damages, and accurately recording all received items. This position plays a crucial part in our logistics pipeline, maintaining precise inventory control and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; all employees must strictly follow safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments from various carriers.
- Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Accurately record all received items into the inventory system.
- Label and stage incoming goods for put-away.
- Report any issues, damages, or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the receiving area.
- Follow all company safety policies, including proper Lifting and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Support the overall logistics and warehouse functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety.
