We have an exciting opening for a Warehouse Associate in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. You will be responsible for a range of duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is a top priority. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipping documents and labels.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment as trained and authorized.
- Assist with inventory control and stocktaking activities.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with basic inventory management principles.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges in logistics.
