This role is critical to the efficiency and profitability of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory data, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing improvements to inventory management processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a meticulous approach to record-keeping, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics. This position requires accuracy in data entry, the ability to analyze inventory trends, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While not solely a physical role, some Lifting and moving of inventory may be required during audits or physical counts. Ensuring a safe working environment is paramount, and strict adherence to safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Analyze inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, shipping) on inventory-related matters.
- Generate inventory reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory control and logistics.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in inventory management or a similar role, ideally within a logistics or warehouse environment.
