We are looking for dedicated Pickers/Packers to join our efficient team in Raleigh, North Carolina! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. Your primary duties will involve picking items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and then carefully packing these items for shipment. This requires a keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and efficiency in your movements. You will be working within our comprehensive logistics framework, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Maintaining a safe work environment is essential, and adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. This position requires you to be on your feet for extended periods and involves regular, moderate lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare packages with correct labels and documentation.
- Stage orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing areas.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE .
- Perform necessary lifting and material handling tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
