Our expanding Distribution Center in Miami, Florida, is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to be a part of our vital logistics team. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks that keep our operations running smoothly, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are committed to fostering a safe and efficient work environment and are seeking individuals who are eager to contribute. As a DC Associate, you’ll play a direct role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, making this a critical position in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Accurately stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets with speed and precision.
- Pack orders carefully, ensuring products are secure and protected for transit.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for outbound shipping.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs, using safe and proper lifting techniques.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order information and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform frequent lifting throughout the shift.
- Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety guidelines and the importance of PPE.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
