Responsibilities:
- Unload and load materials onto and off of trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials around the warehouse.
- Perform inventory counts and record keeping.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisory staff immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions focused on logistics and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic Safety principles.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
