Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload deliveries from suppliers and carriers.
- Accurately cross-reference received items with purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all incoming goods for quality and potential damage.
- Record all received inventory into our warehouse management system.
- Tag and organize received products for efficient put-away.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe receiving dock area.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the consistent use of appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Perform tasks requiring moderate lifting and careful handling of merchandise.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving or inventory role is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks involving lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is beneficial.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
