Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specified products from our extensive warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy and speed. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our supply chain. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic setting and committed to upholding the highest safety standards, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve ordered items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Verify picked items against order documents to ensure precision.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology to track inventory movements.
- Pack items carefully and securely for shipment, meeting quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all established procedures.
- Report any stock discrepancies or order issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other warehouse operational tasks.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety guidelines and the importance of PPE.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Basic computer proficiency for using scanning equipment.
