Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will manage the critical first step of our incoming goods process. Responsibilities include unloading shipments, meticulously checking items against documentation, and ensuring the accurate recording of all received products. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting our Logistics operations. Prior experience in a warehouse receiving position is strongly preferred. This role requires physical capability, including moderate Lifting and moving of materials, and a steadfast commitment to Safety. You will work as part of a team dedicated to efficiency and accuracy. We provide a safe work environment and require the consistent use of appropriate PPE. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities and types against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage and report any issues.
- Enter received goods data accurately into the inventory system.
- Stage received items for proper put-away or distribution.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams regarding discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques consistently.
- Wear all designated PPE as required.
- Support the overall Logistics workflow.
