Our Cincinnati, Ohio location is seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to manage the outflow of products. As a Shipping Clerk, your primary responsibilities will involve preparing outgoing shipments, verifying order accuracy, and coordinating with transport carriers. This role is vital for ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently and without damage, playing a key part in our overall Logistics network. You will meticulously check order details, ensure proper packaging, and apply correct shipping labels. A keen eye for detail and organizational prowess are essential. Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role is highly preferred. This role requires adherence to all Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE. The ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and standing is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify order contents against shipping manifests.
- Ensure packages are correctly labeled and meet carrier requirements.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Inspect outgoing packages for damage before dispatch.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Employ safe Lifting practices.
- Wear required PPE diligently.
- Support the Logistics team with other duties as needed.
